Walking through the ice cold stream, out of RiverClan camp, was a black she-cat with amber eyes named Nightcloud. This she-cat looked as if she were nice, but she was the total opposite of sweet and nice. She had already killed three cats and was on a feline hunt for another helpless victim. Amber eyes looked around and spotted no movements, she padded out of the stream, her black underbelly dripping with water. Nightcloud broke out into a slow run then burst into a full run. What was she running towards? The WindClan border so she could cross it, like she even cared about the Warrior Code anymore, now that her once besting heart had been turned icy, all thanks to her dead mentor, which she had killed also. As the black cat stalked low to the ground, she picked up a nearby cat scent, and it was WindClan too. The warrior stopped at the border, keeping low to the ground, watching the cat walk closer to her. Nightcloud narrowed her amber eyes and stood up straight, speaking to the cat. "Im sure your wondering why I'm so close to the border, I was actually about to cross it." She looked at the cat.

Loyalty. It had been installed into his very blood stream at the dawn of his birth - maybe even into his parents and their parents before him and so forth until the day the first leader of Windclan had stepped into the rank. Bravery, something that had been beaten into him threw training and possibly even before that. Bravery to do things and be things you didn't want to be, to allow demons to escape and run free while you hide those closest to you away so they don't fear you. Here stood Wolfstrike, a grey and white tom - who unlike most of his counter parts in Windclan was not all lean and angles, but was more bulky. His frame stood over the vast land scrape of Windclan the white hues giving away his position to those who payed closer attention - however it was times like these that the tom needed to stroll and with each step brought him closer to the border. The scent of Riverclan was fresh and he had no doubt that he clan had sent it's own patrols; but that doubt vanished when he noticed the younger she-cat climbing over announcing she was crossing the border.
"Darlin' I don't think that's a good idea." With whiskers twitching he tilted his head and grinned sheepishly. "Pardon me, I mean - you shouldn't be out on this side of the border; not all cats will be as nice."
In side his claws felt like sprouting and clawing the she-cat for even thinking it, but his eyes were honest and his smile true as he grinned happily at the younger one before winking. [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Nightcloud smirked at the gray and white tom. "Do you really expect me to listen to you?" She claws itched to be unsheathed but she wouldn't do that unless he threatened her or attacked her first. "I'll tell you what, I'll stay here and chat, and I won't go over the border."She looked over the tom, he was quite muscular. Nightcloud sat down and wrapped her black tail around her paws and closed her eyes as the light breeze blew past her fur. "My name is Nightcloud, and who are you?"She asked with a small tilt of her head, her amber eyes targeted on the tom, wondering if he was a threat to her or not. The she-cat softly sighed and looked past the tom, enjoying the open space that the WindClan cats have to look at every day, while she is constantly stuck in camp, being watched by a warrior every day of her life since she had killed Brightstar, the leader before Silentstar. She wasn't quite thinking about killing him because he was mute anyway so what was the use of planning on killing him, for now she would leave cats alone in RiverClan. In other clans? She would terrorize them to death.

She told him straight out, and with a roll of his eyes he settled down, tail instantly wrapping around his paws in an relaxed posture. A all nature boy next door grin appeared on his face. The she-cat wanted to talk? He shrugged. 'You could stay there and chat all day, or we can walk and keep our muscles active in cause of an attack.' He hadn't met this she-cat before, that much was for certain - so he knew not a thing about her abilities in fighting, or her abilities to take care of herself. Nor did she know of his monsters that hid deep within his heart, the ones that wished freedom to rank claws deeper into the fur of any cat that did not belong to Windclan.
Nightcloud? A name that made the older tom grin, he remembered the name spoken at the Gathering not long after the she-cats naming. The death of Brightstar was odd as well. His eyes closed for a moment, pondering how to explain his name. Surely being a new deputy was something to be prideful of, but a small part of him disliked it - the new duties put upon his already large list. With curious eyes and a charming smile the tom leaned closer. 'Names Wolfstrike darlin', at your service." He meowed with a deeper tone, winking the slightest and then returning to a normal posture.
He noticed her longing stares and his grin grew as he bounced to his paws, and deciding to live in the moment a little. "Here, come with me." He meowed, turning to look into his territory, feeling a rush as he padded off, looking over his shoulder meowing; "Coming Nightcloud?" His whiskers twitched, the she-cat had looked so interested, and with a grin he knew exactly where he wanted to go, somewhere close to the Horseplace, but still far enough away - a small tree that grew, it was his favorite spot and not to far from the border.

Nightcloud shrugged and looked around, then behind her to make sure she wasn't being followed by any of her clanmates or younger sister, Sorrelpelt. She loved her sister to death but she wouldn't give up her killing habits, maybe this tom in front of her, wouldn't have to die. Nightcloud could feel a smiled start to build upon her face but her cold mind told her not to be soft in front of a tom or it would make her look weak and not a killer. Finally the tom announced his name as Wolfstrike. Interesting name, she thought but then stood up shaking her pelt out.
Wolfstrike had told her to follow him and he started to walk away into his territory. Nightcloud narrowed his eyes and wondered if he was going to ambush her with a patrol of WindClan cats. She pushed the thought away and decided to make the risk, as she crossed over the border and followed beside Wolfstrike. She took in all of the sights and smells, it was beautiful in WindClan. She always dreamed about being in WindClan and finding a mate, that might be able to put up with her evil ways.
She could feel herself becoming soft, and that was the enemy she was walking beside, Attack him now! She told herself, and she unsheathed her claws but didn't have the heart to do it. What is wrong with me? He is a WindClan cat, why can't I kill him? Then she realized the problem, her heart was giving slowly but surely, falling for Wolfstrike's tricks. Nightcloud pushed all of these thoughts away and continued walking.
