SPECKLEDFOOT -- RIVERCLAN

PERSONALITY:Even though Speckledfoot may look menacing, he's really a nice cat. Well, to his clan mates that is. Every cat is a little biased toward their clan, but Speckledfoot might just be a little too biased. Honestly, in his eyes, all the other clans do everything in all the wrong ways. ThunderClan is the only clan that actually does anything right, whether it be from training their apprentices, to having kits. He's not shy about saying it either. If their is a border skirmish, he'll hiss out insults if provoked. It's a bad quality, but it shows how loyal he is to his clan. He would never do anything that could potentially hurt his clan, and that is one of the rare moments he actually closes his mouth.
He follows the Warrior Code religiously, and he doesn't necessarily look down on other cats for not following it, he just feels that they should take things more seriously. In all honesty, even though he follows the Warrior Code and thinks ThunderClan is the best clan out of the four of them, he doesn't pray to StarClan all that much. He knows that they exist, but that's mostly because of the omens they give the clans and because he's seen with his own eyes his leader die and come back to life. Obviously there is one, he just doesn't feel he needs to pray to them, especially in a time where there seems to be a lot going wrong. There was a large battle and StarClan didn't do anything to stop it. If StarClan was all that, they would have stopped the war before it had even started, but it didn't seem to work out that way.
Aside from all of that, Speckledfoot is an all around nice time. Of course he can be strict, and even get angry at his clan mates, but in the end he'll try to calmly talk about whatever needs to be said and move on from it. One good quality about Speckledfoot is that he doesn't hold grudges, and surprisingly enough, he doesn't hold grudges on other clans. If they do something as little as steal prey from ThunderClan, he won't hold it against them for moons and moons at a time. But there are a few things he'll hold a grudge on some cat about. Mostly if it involves deliberately hurting a cat, a kit, or doing some other horrible thing like that. In the Warrior Code it states to never let a kit suffer, even if they're form a different clan. Being that it's in the Warrior Code and against his own morals, Speckledfoot probably wouldn't ever be able to forgive a cat for something like that.
HISTORY:Lilysong had kitted two three kits, two toms and a she-cat. Their names were Speckledkit, Mistkit, and Ivykit. It was early greenleaf, and all three kits were perfectly healthy; they all would survive to be apprentices. In the nursery, Speckledkit acted as if he was the boss of everybody, always giving orders. No cat ever said anything about it, though. Mostly because he did it nicely and he claimed that he was clan leader; it was only him playing a game. Little did they knew Speckledkit thought he was being dead serious. Even as a small kit he wanted to be clan leader, and he would achieve his goals.
It didn't seem long before Speckledkit, Mistkit, and Ivykit received their apprentice name. They all received mentors, but Speckledpaw couldn't help but like his mentor the most. Gorsetail was an older tom, close to retiring to the elder's den, but he was an experienced warrior. This would be the way Speckledpaw made it to the top, it show a senior warrior how much he deserved something. In the beginning, Speckledpaw realized how hard all of this was, but that didn't stop him from giving one-hundred and ten percent. Unlike the other apprentices who complained when they were told to clean the elders den or nursery, or even rid the elders of fleas and ticks, he actually didn't mind doing the apprentice jobs. Mostly because he knew it would help his clan out. In the beginning of his apprenticeship, Gorsetail told him that he could help his clan out by doing other things than jut hunting and fighting.
After six long moons of training, Speckledpaw was finally awarded his warrior name: Speckledfoot. Honestly, that was one of his most proud moments, being told that he was good enough to be a warrior of RiverClan. After that, he began to give an extra mile, trying to go on as many patrols as he possibly could, border and hunting. It was draining him greatly, and eventually the deputy noticed and told him he needed to slow down, even said their medicine cat said it wasn't healthy. By then, he was fifteen moons and counting. Speckledfoot started slowing down, still going the extra mile and helping his clan, but not where it was making him sick with exhaustion.
When Speckledfoot was twenty-five moons, he was given his first apprentice, a young she-cat by the name of Hollypaw. She was feisty and Speckledfoot liked that. She had a spirit, and he knew she would be a great warrior one day. Her training went fine, and Speckledfoot tried to teach her as much as he could while he was still her mentor. Eventually, she became a warrior and was given the name Hollypelt. Speckledfoot was proud of her, mostly because he watched an inexperienced kit turn into a knowledgeable warrior.
REASON FOR NAME: Speckledfoot was given his name because of all the spots that cover his belly and legs. Thus, Speckledfoot.
